Marci's Barbecue Shrimp
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1 Small Bell Pepper, Finely Chopped
1 Small Onion, Finely Chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
2 Pounds Large Fresh Shrimp, Rinsed (The Whole Thing in the Shell)
2 Sticks of Butter
4 Tablespoons Mrs. Dash Original
1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
2 Bay Leaves
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
A Few Dashes of Your Favorite Hot Sauce
1 Lemon
1 Loaf of French Bread
In a saucepan heat Olive Oil over medium heat, add Bell Pepper, Onion and Garlic, cook until vegetables are soft. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large casserole dish (oven safe) add Olive Oil and cooked Vegetables, and all of the remaining ingredients, except the Lemon and French Bread. Place uncovered in the oven for 10 minutes, remove and stir well, butter should be melted. Repeat this two more times, for a total cooking time of 30 minutes. The shrimp should be pink and completely opaque. Remove Bay Leaves, and squirt the juice from the Lemon over the Shrimp right before you serve. Serve in bowls with French Bread on the side.
